Hotel Accommodation near the MCG

Stay minutes from the MCG with Brady Hotels

Travelling to Melbourne for the cricket or the footy? Brady Hotels & Apartments has five properties near the MCG, each a short train ride from the ground. The MCG sits in Yarra Park just across the rail corridor from the CBD, so you can be at the gate in about fifteen minutes without a car.

We’re proudly Melbourne owned, with a team that knows game day inside out. Ask at reception for the quickest way to your gate and which train beats the post-siren crowd. For accommodation near the MCG with a kitchen and room for the crew, our apartment-style hotels add full kitchens and separate living areas.

Why choose Brady for a game at the MCG

The MCG hosts the biggest days on Melbourne’s calendar, the AFL Grand Final, the Boxing Day Test, Big Bash nights and stadium concerts. Staying in the city puts you one stop up the line from the ground, so you skip the long queues home while everyone else is still on the platform.

There are no hotels inside Yarra Park itself, so a central base is the smart choice. Our apartment hotels at Flinders Street and Hardware Lane add a kitchen and separate living area, handy for a Test match weekend or a family in town for the footy.

We’ve been Melbourne owned and independently run since 2014, so we know the small things, like which Jolimont exit clears fastest after a full house.
